NEW Boxing & Fitness (Fee: $30/$40/$50)
4-week session begins August 1st. Sundays 8am-9am in Activity Center. Adults 18 & over. Taught by Eric Rodriguez. Fee based program. Boxing and Fitness incorporates boxing basics, exercise techniques, self defense and discipline to enhance your over all fitness and performance. Whether you are a beginning athlete, need cross training in-between sports or just looking for an exciting workout, Boxing and Fitness has it all! See flyer.

ADULT AIKIDO (Fee: $20/$30/$40)
Monday/Intermediate Level, Thursday/Beginning Level
Aikido is a martial art that promotes harmony and non-aggression by developing an awareness of oneself, an awareness of others and a way of interacting in harmony. Training for mind, body and spirit. Affiliated with Aikido World Headquarters and the Pacific Aikido Federation. Instructed by Don Stratton, 5th Dan who has over 30 years training and 26 years teaching at the YMCA.


YOUTH AIKIDO (Fee: $30/$40/$50) For children ages 7-12 (flyer)
Sensei Jay H. Callender L. Ac. He has 35 years experience and holds black belt ranks in multiple styles of marital arts. He is also trained and licensed to practice Asian medical modalities.


BALLET, Ages 3-6
(Fee: $25/$30/$35)
(On hiatus until further notice)
Beginning June 6th. The YMCA is proud to work in conjunction with Happy Fee Dance Company and with Garicka Rush, instructor. Preferred attire (optional): Black leotard, pink tights, pink ballet shoes, and hair pulled back off of face, preferably in a bun.  


ADULT FENCING
(Fee: $59/$69/$79) 6-wk session, Returns in February
Tuesdays, 11:00-12:00PM in the Activity Center
Ages 14 and up. Appropriate for High School Youth, Homeschoolers, Adults and Older Adults …No Equipment necessary! It is provided. Please wear a t-shirt, long pants; athletic shoes. Students will learn thrusts, lunges parries (deflections) and ripostes (quick maneuvers).  This sport of kings
is designed to be practiced for a lifetime… Build on your fitness; Develop mental acuity; Move at your own pace; Enhance coordination.


YOUTH FENCING
(Fee: $59/$69/$79)
Saturdays, 12 N - 1 PM in the Group Exercise room
No Equipment necessary! It is provided. Please wear a t-shirt, long pants; athletic shoes. Students will learn thrusts, lunges parries (deflections) and ripostes (quick maneuvers).  This safe, high-energy Olympic sport enhances: coordination, mental agility, camaraderie, honor, respect and one-on-one competition.

YOUTH FENCING MINI-CAMP (Fee: $169/$179/$189)
July 19 - 23, 3:30-5:30 PM in the Activity Center
All Levels Welcome. No Equipment necessary! It is provided. Please wear a t-shirt, long pants; athletic shoes. See flyer for more details or call Becky Ennis at 545-9622 ext. 3128.

GYMNASTICS
Santa Rosa Gymnastics & Elite Cheer 12,000 square foot facility! YMCA members receive a discount on their first session. Just show your membership card and receive the discount.
  Santa Rosa Gymnastics Center to offer children an opportunity to fl ip, roll, climb and jump. Toddler (ages 3-4) and beginner (ages 5-11) classes available. All classes held at SRGC, 525-1720.


HIP HOP, ages 7-14
(Fee: $25/$30/$35)
Saturdays, 10 - 11 AM
Attire: Comfortable clothes for ease of movement. Shoes with moderately flexible soles - no flip-flops. The YMCA is proud to work in conjunction with Garicka Rush, owner of Happy Feet Dance Company. 


MEDITATION
(Fee: $20/$25/$30) see flyer here
Explore a variety of meditation practices and relaxation techniques in a supportive group setting.  Instructor lead visualization, mindfulness, breath control and more! Sign-up in Membership Office. Meet in the Conference Room. Wear Comfortable Clothing. Class Size is Limited. Instructed by Holly Pace, a certified Kripalu Yoga Instructor 1991, has been a YMCA Yoga Instructor Stress Reduction Instructor since 2003.


PRENATAL YOGA
(Fee: $30/$40/$50)
Mondays, 12 PM - 1PM in the Conference room
It helps prepare Moms for birth, increases physical comfort, reduces fear & anxiety, helps with postpartum recovery and enhances overall well-being.
