Our Strong Kids Campaign is the largest adult program & fundraising effort we do, enlisting over 100 volunteers and all YMCA staff to "tell the story of the YMCA" in person and over the phone, gathering contributions from local companies, private individuals and YMCA members like you!

The Sonoma County Family YMCA has been serving the community since 1954, serving not only "Health Seekers" fitness needs, but also providing youth & teen programs, e.g., summer camps, childcare, youth sports & swim lessons. The Y is a non-profit 501(C) 3 organization (tax ID 94-1265049) that provides financial assistance to those individuals and families who are unable to pay the full fees for YMCA membership or programs.  Financial assistance is offered on a sliding scale based on family size and income.

Each year the YMCA staff and volunteers are involved in a number of fundraising events including the Community Support Campaign, the Annual Golf Tournament, the Harvest Fair Run, and others where over $200,000 are raised to provide financial assistance to those in need.

Every child needs safe, healthy care and activity. Your gifts help the Y reach families who cannot afford these services.

“ A number of families are experiencing unemployment and financial difficulties. As a result, more children, families and seniors need our help and their needs are more critical than ever.”
