HOLD POLICIES
Memberships may be placed on hold for a minimum of 1, maximum of 3 months, in a 12 month period. There is a $10/month charge for this service ($5/month for memberships receiving financial assistance). The membership will automatically return to the regular active rate unless special circumstances are arranged through the Member Center. Members paying through bank draft are required to provide 30 days written notice to implement any changes that affect their draft.
REQUIREMENTS
Children ages 9 years and under must be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times. The parent/guardian must be in the same area of the facility as the child and must be 18 years or older. Children ages 10-12 years must have a parent/guardian at the YMCA facility. Children 13 years and older may use the YMCA without a parent/guardian at the facility. There must be a signed waiver of liability on file in the Member Center.
CHECKING IN
All members, guests and class participants must check in and present their membership card or program receipt at the Welcome Center before using the fitness and aquatic facilities. Membership cards are required for each member age 6 and above entering the YMCA facility. Persons not having their membership card for admittance will need to show valid photo identification. Lost or damaged cards may be replaced in the Member Center for a $5 fee.
DUES REFUND
The Sonoma County Family YMCA will refund the unused portion of annual and quarterly dues paid by a member with written notice. Bank draft members may cancel their membership with thirty days written notice. Join Fees are not refundable. All refunds are subject to a processing fee.
