SPORTS LEAGUES
- Basketball- Spring 2012

A positive, supportive, youth basketball league for children ages 6-15 which emphasizes the fun of the sport, while keeping competition in perspective.

Junior Warriors

The Sonoma County Family YMCA has the distinct privilege of partnering with the Golden State Warriors Junior Basketball League.  All participants will receive a reversible mesh jersey, a headband, a voucher for a free ticket to a Warriors game, as well as access to various player clinics at Oracle Arena and the Warriors Practice Facility throughout the year.  Our volunteer coaches will also have to the opportunity to attend their own clinics. Many of the clinics include appearances by Warriors players and coaches. The YMCA will have the opportunity to nominate teams to play in the Junior Warriors Classic. These two teams will be selected based on sportsmanship, teamwork, and fair play and will represent the league in the Junior Warriors Classic at Oracle Arena prior to a Warriors home game.

The Youth Sports League has received a generous donation from Hall’s Executive Gifts and Awards and all YBL participants will receive a participation trophy at the end of the season.

Partnering with the Y and the Warriors is a great opportunity for  local companies to sponsor in our Youth Basketball League. We have updated forms that can be emailed out or picked up at our program office. If anyone is interested please send them our way.
