About Nicole

Health Coach • Personal Trainer • Group Exercise Instructor
Nicole loves to learn, teach and coach.
She can work with you both in person and virtually.

Nicole Martinovich is an ACE Certified Health Coach, SCW Certified Lifestyle & Behavior Coach and has completed Core 100 with Robbins-Madanes Training and Strategic Intervention Training.

Nicole’s love of physical activity started at Ocean Beach as a toddler, splishing and splashing in the waves. Continuing her aquatic journey she began body surfing and competitive swimming. Shifting gears a bit, she participated in horseback riding and water skiing in elementary & junior high. Later in high school, dance took center stage and continued to hold that position through collage, and beyond. In 1993 she started working at the Y. She has been and continues to teach a wide variety of exercise classes, provide Personal Training, Health Coaching and program support. She has been working full time at our Y since 2013 getting the YMCA’s Diabetes  Prevention Program up and running, and is now our Healthy Initiatives Program Coordinator.

Nicole works with you to help you get from where you are to where you want to be. She draws from her education and experience to support you in defining your goals, mapping out a course, moving obstacles out of your way and achieving your goals, while enjoying the process.
