The Y is closed Thursday, Nov. 27th for Thanksgiving.
The Y is a cause-driven, not-for-profit organization that seeks to
strengthen the Sonoma County community by focusing on Youth
Development, Healthy Living & Social Responsibility.
November is National Diabetes Awareness Month and we need your help. The Sonoma County Family YMCA and Ys across the country want to help one million people learn their risk for diabetes. YOU CAN HELP YOURSELF. YOU CAN HELP A FRIEND.
Odds are everyone has at least one friend with prediabetes or diabetes, a disease that produces more than $245 billion in medical costs in the United States each year.
Currently, 29 million Americans have diabetes and 86 million have prediabetes yet only about 9 million know they have it. Together we can help our family and friends know their risk! Take the test, learn your risk, tell 10 friends. ymca.net/diabetes. #yDiabetesPrevention

Join us on Saturday, Nov. 29th, starting at 8 AM.
Each year, when the dishes and napkins settle, the Sonoma County Family Y sets out to help our community cease the Thanksgiving madness and STOP GOBBLING!!
It's a great time for members to try out a new class or different instructors. Try one, two, or all of our offerings, from our healthy buffet of fitness feasting!
Looking for something fun to do with your friends & family? Make a play date at the Y! Facility Members are welcome to bring up to (2) guests each day (November 29 & 30, 2014) at no charge or use of your guest passes. Please stop by the Welcome Center .
See flyer for dates and times.
We know it's early to think about the holiday season, but for those of us getting ready to celebrate Thanksgiving with all its bounty, there are those who are not as lucky as some.
For the past 13 years during the holiday season, the Y has been reaching out to YMCA youth & teens whose families are in need! Each year the need increases and this year there are more than 400 families who qualify to participate in this program.
