MY Y IS EVERY Y

We’re excited to share that your membership just got better! The YMCAs in Northern California are partnering together to open reciprocal facility access, called MY Y is Every Y, to all adult members. Starting January 1, 2017 your membership will include access to every YMCA in Northern California.

What to expect when visiting a host branch:

  • Bring your membership card and valid photo ID to access a Host
  • Sign a waiver when you visit a Host
  • Policies of the Host YMCA Check the website for details.

Healthy living for our members remains a top priority. My Y is Every Y makes it easier and more convenient for you to access our fitness programs wherever you live, work and play.

On December 26th we opened our doors after a week of renovations.  Here's a list of the projects that were completed.  We hope you've liked what you've seen!

PRESCHOOL TEACHER WANTED

Sonoma County Family YMCA is looking for Full Time/Year Round (M-F 9:30-6) Teacher to join our team at our Multi-Age, West Santa Rosa location. If you are energetic, enthusiastic, have experience working with young children and wish to further your experience, then this is the place for you.

Teacher Requirements :
The person selected for this position is required to have at least the 12 Core Child Development unites in the following areas; Child, Family & Community, Child Development and ECE Curriculum with 1 years teaching experience along with 15 hours of Health & Safety (including CPR/First Aid).

Preschool Site Director Wanted.

Sonoma County Family YMCA is looking for Full Time/Year Round Preschool Site Director to join our team at our Multi-Age, West Santa Rosa location. If you are energetic, enthusiastic, have experience working with young children and wish to further your experience, then this is the place for you.

Site Director Requirements:
The position requires two years experience in the childcare field with supervisory experience.  A BA is preferred in ECE or Elementary Education.  As mandated by the California Department of Social Services, a Director must have a minimum of 15 units of Early Childhood Education, Recreation, Elementary Education, Human Services, Social Welfare, Psychology or Sociology.  At least 12 units need to fall under the topics of Child Development, Family & Community, Program Administration and Curriculum.  Applicable training hours may be submitted for units of education.
