Be A Life Saver -- Lifeguard Training

Our services include a warm water therapy pool (92-94 degrees) and a lap pool (82-84 degrees). We also provide swim lessons, water safety classes, pre- and post-natal water classes, aqua aerobics classes, and more!

You no longer need to sign up for Lap Swim and Water Ex classes online!
Specialty water exercise classes will still require reservations due to limited availabilty.

FAMILY SWIM

Recreational swim time open to the public. A “family” is up to 2 adults and their minor children living in the same household.  Approved swim diapers are required for all children under 3 years and all who are incontinent.

Open to children and adults. A recreational swim encouraging family fun.

Children age 6 and under must have an adult in the water with them at all times. Approved swim diapers are required for all children under 3 years old.

Children ages 7-9who can swim unassisted, must have an adult in the pool area while they are swimming.

Children ages 10-12 must have an adult in the YMCA facility while they are in the pool.

If the child cannot swim, an adult must be in the pool with the child.

Any floatation device must be Coast Guard approved. Any child wearing a life jacket must be accompanied by an adult regardless of swimming ability or age.

One of the most effective ways to accomplish this is to teach youth, teens, and adults to swim, so they can stay safe around water and learn the skills they need to make swimming a lifelong pursuit for staying healthy.

SAUNA

Our sauna is now open!

Sauna Guidelines due to COVID:

Capacity – 1 person or 3 if in same household

No reservations are required

Time limit – 15 minutes. Flip the sand timer inside sauna to help keep track of your time

Sauna will be sanitized daily

A co-ed, dry heat sauna with temperatures ranging between 165 and 185 degrees is available to persons age 15 and older.
It is strongly recommended that members do not exceed 10 minutes in the sauna.
Showers are required before entering and when re-entering the pool.
Swimsuits must be worn.
Use of any liquid or aromatic on the rocks is prohibited.

ADULT OPEN EXERCISE

Time reserved for patrons (15 yrs+) to use the pool for an independent workout.  Please limit exercises in the therapy pool to those that can be done stationary or walking.

AQUA AEROBICS

Instructor-led water fitness class. Includes active warm-up, cardiovascular conditioning, muscle toning and cool down. Enjoy this high cardio class while reducing impact on joints. 

SENIOR EXERCISE

An instructor-led class provides a low-impact cardiovascular workout with emphasis on improving flexibility and range of motion. Supportive swimwear and pool shoes are recommended. 

ARTHRITIS WATER EXERCISE

This program consists of range-of-motion and muscle-strengthening exercises in warm water. All of the exercises are designed to be within the capabilities of the majority of people with arthritis. Supportive swimwear and pool shoes are recommended.

THERAPEUTIC EXERCISE

A low to moderate intensity exercise program that is designed to help people with mobility, flexibility, balance, and strength.  Great for post-surgery, arthritis, stiff muscles and people who want at gentle, full body workout. 

LAP SWIM

For patrons (13 yrs+).

Lap swim guidelines are posted in the pool area. Must be 13 years of age or older.  Exceptions will go through an approval process including a swim test.

Reservations are no longer required for lap swim. Also, there are now three patrons allowed per lane at this time. When joining a lane with someone already in it, please notify the other person to avoid collision and confusion. Aqua jogging is permitted.
