Do you or someone you know have diabetes?

The Diabetes Empowerment Education Program encourages small lifestyle changes while learning about your diabetes and the way it affects your health.

Topics include:

  • What is diabetes?
  • Diet and Exercise
  • The importance of taking your medications
  • How to manage complications
  • Self-care:  Eyes, Teeth, Toes, and Feet.  What you need to know.

DEEP meets once a week for six weeks.  Each meeting is 2 hours.

DEEP provides a supportive environment where participants work together in a small group to ensure that people with diabetes and prediabetes can acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to reduce complications resulting from diabetes.

NEXT SESSION:  March 6 - April 10  (Preregistration is required)
