Health & Wellness

Being healthy means more than simply being physically active. It's about maintaining a balanced spirit, mind, and body. The Y is a place where you can work toward that balance by challenging yourself to learn a new skill or hobby, fostering connections with friends through our lifelong learning programs, or bringing your loved ones closer together through our many family-centered activities. At the Y, it's not about the activity you choose as much as it is about the benefits of living healthier on the inside as well as the outside.

We are excited to announce that our NEW dedicated outdoor fitness space for functional training, conditioning, and strength training is finally open! We have installed outdoor equipment manufactured by MoveStrong and Kompan, as well as resurfaced the area with an amazing pour in place surface. The Y FITYARD is waiting for you to come play and try out some of our new equipment!!

Pickleball is fun, social and friendly! The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a fast-paced, competitive game. We have two indoor courts, located in our Activity Center, and plenty of paddles and balls to get everyone started. Check out our open court times below!

Petanque is a French outdoor game that’s similar to bocce, where players try to toss their metal balls closest to a small target ball, called the "cochonnet." It’s easy to learn, and the perfect mix of strategy and fun! Petanque is social & inclusive, great for improving hand-eye coordination, and perfect for those looking to get outdoors. Come play on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm, and Sundays at 2pm in the Bekins fenched-in lot on 13th Street! Click below to learn more about Petanque.

One of our most popular open gym times, volleyball has taken the Y by storm! Drop in on Wednesdays from 5:00-8:00PM, or Saturday mornings from 10:15AM-12:15PM for some good competitive fun!
